Conditions of Entry

The AVM Conditions of Entry apply to the following venues for which AVM manages and operates:

  • Adelaide Convention Centre, North Terrace, Adelaide SA 5000, adelaidecc.com.au
  • Adelaide Entertainment Centre, Port Road, Hindmarsh SA 5007, adelaideentertainmentcentre.com.au
  • Coopers Stadium, Holden Street, Hindmarsh SA 5007, coopersstadium.com.au

In addition to the AVM Conditions of Entry, each of AVM’s venues may have additional conditions of entry that apply for each venue or specific events – see venue specific websites for details. The AVM Conditions of Entry are to be read in conjunction with these.

Further, venue hirers, ticketing agents and governing bodies may have other specific conditions of entry, and these shall also apply to AVM’s venues during applicable events. The AVM Conditions of Entry are to be read in conjunction with these.

Breach of any conditions of entry may result in bans across any AVM venues as detailed below.

 

Conditions of Entry

  • AVM reserves the right to refuse entry to any person/s.
  • Patrons enter voluntarily and entirely at their own risk. Patrons voluntarily assume all risk of all damage and loss, including personal injury (fatal or non-fatal), property damage, economic and consequential loss.
  • Patrons may be required to show valid identification on entry and/or at any other times.
  • Screening/security checks may apply on entry and/or at any other times.
  • All carry items and clothing may be subject to inspection for prohibited and/or illegal items – see venue specific websites for details.
  • Restrictions and/or exclusion may apply to the size and nature of carry items permitted into specific venues and/or events – see venue specific websites for details.
  • AVM accepts no liability for damaged, lost or stolen property.
  • Minimum dress standards apply. AVM may refuse entry or remove any person failing to meet required standards – see venue specific websites for details.
  • Surveillance equipment may be in use within and surrounding AVM venues, and patrons may be filmed/photographed to assist in law enforcement and protection of public interest, patron safety and AVM property. By entering, you consent to your image being recorded. See venue specific website for details.
  • Minors under the age of 12 must be accompanied by a carer 16 years or older.
  • Smoking, including E-cigarettes, vaping and similar devices, is not permitted within 15 metres of any venue entry point. Smoking is strictly limited to designated smoking areas, if any, within venues.
  • Alcoholic beverages are not to be taken into or out of any venue.
  • AVM may take photographs for publication and promotional purposes.
  • No animals are permitted with the exception of accredited assistance dogs.
  • No wearing of colours or insignia signifying association with outlaw motorcycle group/s is permitted.
  • Patrons are advised that strobe lighting may be utilised within AVM’s venues.
  • AVM’s venues are places of mass gathering whereby the transmission of viral illnesses (e.g. COVID-19) and other diseases that may have serious impacts on personal health, including death, is of elevated risk. Any person attending an AVM venue accepts that risk, and also accepts that risk on behalf of any accompanying minor/s.
  • Patrons are required to adhere to the directions issued pursuant to the Emergency Management Act 2004 (SA).

 

Failure to Comply – Penalties

AVM places a high priority on the safety and wellbeing of all persons using its venues. As such, strict penalties will apply for breaches of AVM’s Conditions of Entry, which may include venue bans (including lifetime bans) under the following circumstances:

  • Possession and/or ignition of flares
  • Possession and/or selling of drugs or illicit substances
  • Acts of violence as determined by AVM
  • Interfering with Emergency equipment
  • Entering any restricted area during a performance/event (e.g. field of play, stage, foyer, back-of-house, etc.)
  • Multiple evictions from AVM venue/s
  • Use of threatening, racist, discriminatory or sexist language as determined by AVM
  • Causing deliberate damage to venue
  • Smoking or vaping in non-smoking areas
  • Failure to follow reasonable direction
  • Possession of unauthorised banner/signage

AVM reserves the right to ban patrons from one or more of its venues for breach of the AVM Conditions of Entry at a single venue, and to impose penalties for incidents and/or behaviour not specifically covered by the AVM Conditions of Entry. No refunds shall be paid.

 

Change

AVM Management reserves the right to change the AVM Conditions of Entry at any time.
